Japan reports 3rd cruise ship death

February 24, 2020

A cruise ship, like many others had a passenger who had the corona virus and was hospitalized. On Sunday that person had died as the fourth and hopefully the final person to die from being on the Diamond Princess (the cruise ship). The Japan Ministry has sadly announced that there are more than 57 cases of corona from just the ship 55 crew still on board and 2 passengers with infected colleagues in a continued confinement in a government provision. Because of these new cases nearly 691 individuals or one fifth of the ship’s population has been infected. Japan has also confirmed overall 4 deaths so far.

The newest death from corona was an eighty-year-old man who was apart of the first or original group acquiring signs when an important individual named Masami Sakoi from the health industry ordered a 2-week quarantine. Also, a ministry official said that the man had already been showing symptoms of corona when the boat had docked in Yokohama near Tokyo. A part of the four deaths in Japan 3 of those deaths were also eighty-year-old men and former passengers of the ship, the Diamond Princess. Coincidence I think not. Because of loads of these cases and people being confirmed with corona everyday Japanese officials said they had dealt with the situation as best as they could. With these cases just growing and growing I would suggest to stay inside and especially stay healthy.
